Last week, Princess cruises issued a new 7 page Health Advisory, that could possibly be a blueprint for the future of cruising. Princess released this document as part of their overall Cruise with Confidence initiatives. You can read a full rundown of Princess’s Health Advisory on our website.
In essence, the advisory outlines some of the actions they have taken or will be taking to ensure that guests are able to sail safely and confidently. Those actions include new pre cruise procedures, enhanced sanitation onboard and special expectations from guests. In this podcast we’ll walk you through the new document section by section. We’ll tell what we think about the new actions, recommendations, and how we think it will affect the future of cruising. We may sidetrack, or go on a rant once or twice, but if you’re looking for a preview of the future of cruising, we think this is a worthwhile episode.
