Norwegian Aqua Full Cruise Ship Tour: Discover the Ultimate Experience at Sea

Join me for an exciting Norwegian Aqua full cruise ship tour where I’ll take you through every incredible detail of this stunning vessel. From thrilling attractions like the Aqua Slidecoaster to the luxurious Haven, this ship has something for everyone!

Introduction- WOWZA!!!!!!!!

You guys, I’ve gotta tell ya’ Norwegian Aqua is nothing short of breathtaking. Seriously, from the moment you step on board, you’re greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and endless activities. If NCL’s goal with Norwegian Aqua was to design a ship that would provide an unforgettable experience for everyone, well, they nailed it. Whether you’re an adventure seeker or someone looking to relax, you’re not going to be disappointed on this ship. Let’s get into the amazing features that make this cruise ship a must-sail.

Norwegian Aqua Glow Court

At the very top of the ship on deck 20 is the incredible Glow Court. This isn’t just any basketball court; it’s an interactive LED playground, and it’s really like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Here, you can shoot hoops, play soccer, or unique games like wall ball and stomp. The court tracks your movements, and it feels very futuristic. I’ve got to say it is probably the most fun way to get some exercise on a cruise. Oh, and there is no shortage of delicious foon on Norwegian Aqua, so after indulging in all that delicious food, this may be the perfect way to burn off some calories!

Aqua SlideCoaster: Beyond Your Standard Cruise ship slides

Think you’ve seen it all when it comes to cruise ship slides? Prepare to be surprised and, yes, excited. The Aqua SlideCoaster, is the world’s first hybrid roller coaster and water slide at sea! It looks deceptively inviting. You’ll start the adventure by climbing up a ramp and into the comfortable raft. Then, dual mechanical arms launch you into the slides at speeds of up to thirty-one miles per hour. It’s exhilarating but not terrifying, making it perfect for thrill-seekers of all ages. Be aware, though, that you’ll need to meet the height requirement of forty-eight inches, and the weight limit is 300 pounds for one person or 400 combined if you ride with another person.

Mini Golf and Pickleball

For those who love a bit of friendly competition, the mini-golf course is next-level, well, by cruise ship standards anyway. The themed course wraps around the ship and offers plenty of fun photo ops. Plus, there’s an enclosed pickleball court that’s free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a trend that I’m happy to see make its way to Norwegian Aqua. Everyone loves Pickleball, right? Grab your friends and enjoy some active fun while taking in the stunning views!

The Drop: Face Your Fears

Are you ready to face your fears? I wasn’t, but I did it anyway, and I’m so glad I did. The Drop is a dry slide that promises adrenaline-pumping fun. I was nervous at first, but it turned out to be an exhilarating experience. Just remember to wear a shirt with sleeves and closed-toed shoes, as swimsuits won’t cut it here. It’s a crazy fun ride that you definitely don’t want to miss!

Fun and Games at the Stadium

Deck eighteen boasts the Stadium, packed with games like ping pong, foosball, and shuffleboard. The vibrant purple theme adds a fun atmosphere. It’s a popular spot for guests to unwind and enjoy some friendly competition. After a game, don’t forget to check out the nearby Bullseye Bar for a refreshing drink!

Relax at the Bullseye Bar

Speaking of the Bullseye Bar, it’s the perfect place to kick back after your games. With a view of the Vibe Beach Club, you can sip on your favorite drink while enjoying the ambiance. Whether you’re playing darts or just chilling with friends, this pub is a hidden gem on deck eighteen. I didn’t get to spend as much time here as I wanted, but now I have a reason to take another cruise on Norwegina Aqua… right?

Aqua Game Zone: Arcade Fun

On deck seventeen, the Aqua Game Zone offers an impressive selection of games that will take you back to your childhood. From classics like Ms. Pac-Man to exciting VR options, there’s something for everyone. Normally, I’m not a big fan of arcades, and usually, I only stop in because my son talks me into it, but this arcade is fantastic! It is absolutely huge. Sometimes, cruise arcades can look like an afterthought, but that is definitely not the case on Norwegian Aqua. This dedicated space is perfect for families and friends looking for some fun and laughter together.

Pools and Hot Tubs Galore

The pool deck is expansive, with infinity hot tubs on both sides, providing ample space to relax. Compared to some other ships, the Norwegia Aqua has a larger pool area with plenty of lounge chairs. No need to worry about chair hogs here. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail from the Waves Pool Bar while lounging in the sun. It’s the ideal spot to soak up the rays!

Theatre and Nightlife

The Norwegian Aqua truly shines when it comes to entertainment. The Aqua Theater transforms from a traditional venue into an electrifying nightclub, showcasing shows like “Elements,” “Rumors,” and, let’s not forget, Revolutions, the tribute to Prince. I’ve been playing Prince songs on repeat since I got off the ship. Don’t miss the chance to experience live performances that will leave you in awe.

Outdoor Decks and Ocean Boulevard

Stroll along Ocean Boulevard, where you can take in stunning ocean views. I know I mentioned some other areas that were perfect for photos, but this one is over the top. In fact, the sculpture in this area is called “the Selfie Sculpture”. So yeah, perfect for photos. This outdoor promenade also offers the perfect setting for a leisurely walk or a cozy spot to watch the sunset. Whether day or night, the ambiance here is simply magical.

Shops and Boutiques

I love shopping on cruise ships. It’s like my favorite things (cruising and shopping) have come together in one place. Deck eight features a variety of shops and boutiques. Browse through clothing, souvenirs, and unique gifts. The selection is impressive, and you might even find something special to take home with you.

Dining Delights: Cagney’s, La Bistro, and More

Indulge in culinary delights at Cagney’s, La Bistro, and other specialty restaurants. I’ve always been a big fan of Cagney’s. I love me a good steak when I’m cruising. Both of these venues offer a unique dining experience, from the sizzling steaks at Cagney’s to the romantic ambiance at La Bistro. The giant chandelier in Le Bistro kind of sets the tone the minute you walk in.

The Haven: Luxury Awaits

The Haven is a luxurious sanctuary within the ship, offering exclusive amenities and services. I’ve always been a fan of the ship within a ship concept, but this was my first experience with The Haven. It did not disappoint, and now I’m totally hooked on it. It’s got its own private pool, restaurant, and concierge. This is definitely an elevated cruising experience. It’s the perfect escape for those seeking a little extra pampering.
