Special Easter Episode: Staying Positive

CruiseTipsTV Unplugged Podcast New Episodes Wednesday

There are a lot of good things to keep us staying positive

We had planned on taking this week off, but decided to do a short rambling episode about us, and how we are staying positive in these challenging times. We hope you enjoy it. As always, you can email us your questions at podcast@cruisetipstv.com.

Yes, there’s been bad news

Staying positive with bad newsYeah, we started the week off with some news from Carnival, Princess and Holland America, and it wasn’t good news. All made announcements about extending the pause of their global ship operations. All announced more cancellations. There was good news too. Arnold Donald, CEO of Carnival said in an interview with CNBC, that despite the devastation caused by this virus, cruise bookings are strong for 2021. At times like these, we need to look for good news like this.

And for us personally…

Well, we need to look on the bright side too. We are struggling to be sure. Some of that may come out in this podcast, but we have so much to be thankful for, and that’s the real point of this special Easter podcast. We have a happy marriage and a loving family. We have a dedicated and supportive community that lifts us up, and makes us smile. For those, and so many more things we are grateful.

I started listening to the podcast about a month ago. They are so helpful for anyone who is taking a cruise, first or 50th. I’m going on my second cruise soon and just from listening I booked another! Thanks so much for giving me so many tips for my next cruise.

  • Surprisingly Enjoyable!
July 5, 2023 by Rpaige1365 from United States

I started listening to CruiseTipsTV after sporadically joining a family cruise and then stressing out because I have a type A personality. I expected to pick and choose relevant episodes but this has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. Echoing what others have said, Sheri is so positive and her family is a joy to listen to. I feel much more prepared for my first cruise and I am looking forward to booking more.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year now and I can’t wait every week for the new episode! Sherri is so sweet and helpful when it comes to planning and packing. They get me pumped up for my future cruises and allow me to daydream while I’m working or exercising. Thank you for all you do!
