Shoes are clunky, heavy, and take up too much valuable real estate in your suitcase.  Yes, we all love shoes, but try to limit your cruise shoes to three pair.  I like to pack flip-flops (or comfortable sandals), some good walking shoes, and something for elegant dinners.
