Spectrum of the Seas will Offer Unique Cruise Holidays Through Immersive Experiences
Shanghai, Dec. 12, 2019 – Royal Caribbean International today announced its China itineraries for the first half of 2021. Returning favorite Spectrum of the Seas will, once again, sail from Shanghai on 4- to 7-night sailings that feature exciting, new destinations and shore excursions for the whole family, and overnights in far-flung destinations. The newly amplified Voyager of the Seas will call Shanghai home during the summer 2021. Amped up in 2019 with a $97 million, new look, Voyager is set to embark on a series of 4-night and 5-night Japan cruises to several of the nation’s culture-rich ports of call, including Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto and Kagoshima, Japan.
New Destinations and Overnights with Spectrum
Spectrum, Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, will offer nearly 30 sailings to multiple destinations in Japan. Travelers on the 4- to 5-night cruises can uncover adventure and beauty in new ports of call, from the romantic islands of Okinawa to white-sand beaches on the Yaeyama Islands. The Quantum Ultra Class ship’s 7-night cruises include overnight stays in select destinations, giving guests the opportunity to spend more time in port exploring the local, vibrant culture, customs and flavors. A highlight of the 2021 season will be a special sailing to experience some of Japan’s most famed cities, including Shimonoseki, Maizuru, Niigata and Hakodate (Hokkaido), where guests can explore impressive scenery, Niigata City Aquarium, among the largest aquariums on the coast, the picture-perfect seas of flowers and hot springs of Hokkaido, and more.
Those cruising on board Spectrum can also choose from a lineup of new shore excursions designed to enhance the destination experience. Through local celebrations in new and unique locales, the excursions in store cover a variety of themes and routes, and turn traditional sightseeing into an immersive adventure.
