MSC Seaside Grand Cayman Vlog – Stingray City
We were up bright and early again on MSC Seaside, and totally pumped for our Allura Catamaran Stingray City excursion. The wind was so bad that we weren’t able to vlog a lot in the morning. You’ll hear how awful some of the audio sounds when we are aboard the catamaran. It was also quite overcast, and the sun never really came out. All the same, we had a fantastic time. The rays were unbelievably cool. Even though it may look crowded, there were lots of opportunities to get up-close looks at the rays. We got tons of terrific video. Our original edit had over 3 minutes of majestic ray footage, but we felt like it was just too much. Overall it was a great experience, and we recommend it highly.
When we returned to the ship we decided to get in some time on the slides. MSC Seaside waterslides are super fun, and it was a good opportunity to spend some time with our son. He just loves the slides. After the slides, we trekked up to the ziplines, and got a bird’s eye view of the beautiful MSC Seaside. If you’re interested in the ziplines on MSC Seaside, be sure to check out our video on the MSC Fun Pass. Next up after the ziplines was the XD cinema. This is another super fun thing to do with your kids. It’s basically a big interactive theater/video game. You definitely should consider trying it if you’re sailing on MSC Seaside. We worked up quite an appetite after all that activity, so our next stop was the specialty restaurant, Ocean Cay.
This place is so beautiful, and we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves most of the night. We close out the night with MSC Seaside’s White Night dance party. It was a scream! There was a really energetic crowd, and MSC’s crew really got them amped up and dancing. Super fun stuff.
